My experience is a combination of both an academic and a professional journey. I’ve been involved in an adventure engaging in business, education and ministry. I received my B.A. in Business Administration from the University of South Carolina majoring in Management and Management Science, and then completed my M.A. in Marketing Management at the University of Maryland University College. I was fortunate to cultivate my love for ministry by receiving 3 certificates at Regent University’s School of Divinity in Biblical Studies, Church Leadership, & Practical Theology. Along the way, I realized my love for analytical research, interactive media, online marketing and my passion to help both ministries and non-profits increase exposure and compete successfully on the Web.
Some call it Competitive Webmastering. Others call it Web Optimization. I live and breathe the Web and I enjoying working with small businesses, ministries and non-profits who are excited about getting their hands dirty and jumping into the world of online media. I have worked in a variety of industries including non-profit, education, financial, ministry, and private. My experience spans from traditional marketing and PR to content development to new media.
I am the Social Media Marketing Producer for The 700 Club at The Christian Broadcasting Network and Web Optimization Strategist for WorkLife, Inc. based in Atlanta, GA. I am in my element and having the time of my life. I am also working on a few other projects so stay tuned for their release…
My educational journey is far from over. I just completed the Masters of Internet Marketing from Full Sail University. My ultimate educational goal is to earn a Ph.D. and teach the next generation of business and communication leaders. My professional goals are to continue this adventure in the online space and help organizations use media in the acquisition and engagement of their audience. I am a lifelong learner and love collaborating with other learners. I can’t imagine life without growth.
